2A Scientists at Work

The 2A Scientists worked hard to hypothesize how they could make a top spin for the longest amount of time, and to test their hypotheses.  Students used stopwatches to measure how long their top could spin for, recorded their findings, and and were then given the opportunity to create new top designs based on what they had learned.  Ask your child what they learned about force and motion through this experiment.
