On September 29th, first graders will have 30 minutes on the high school track and they will run or walk as many laps as they can! Students will be raising money for a non- profit foundation that they will become quite familiar with.
The walk-a-thon is an annual grade level event and parents are invited to come and cheer for their children. You may even run a few laps by their side, if you wish. This event ties our community service program to our social studies units.
The First Grade Walk-a-thon will take place from 9:15-9:45 am on Friday, Sept. 29th. More details regarding the event and pledge sheets will be sent home soon.
