World Read Aloud Day Celebration

On Friday, the Lower School celebrated World Read Aloud Day by coming together to discuss one of the themes of the book Flora and Ulysses: unlikely superheroes.  Each class partnered with their buddy class from their community.  2B celebrated with 5B!

We visited the 5th graders and had a memorable experience planning which core values our superhero would have, along with their other special powers.  Partnerships planned and illustrated their very own superhero.  The 5th graders were very welcoming and kind to our class.  The experience was very fun and valuable!
