2D You Spin Me Right Round

Students are conducting experiments that relate to tops. Which top spins the longest? Heavy tops? Light tops? Tops with short axels? Tops with long axels? Big tops? Small tops?

Students timed each top three times.

Each student designed two tops.

Students recorded their information.

Students adjusted their tops. 

Scientists at work.

Larger tops spun longer.
