Reading and Social Studies will be closely connected this week. Students will read and summarize biographies They will identify a changemaker and explain how he or she has helped improve his or her community.

Writing
|
The class will begin another 5-paragraph persuasive essay. They will up the level of their writing by thoughtfully choosing topics and review research skills.
|
Math
|
Students will recognize and show that equivalent fractions have the same size, though not necessarily the same shape. They will generate equivalent fractions by using visual fraction models and the number line.

Social Studies
|
The class will look at changemakers and how they make positive differences in their communities.
|
Portuguese
|
PLA: Ortografia: G ou GU e leitura da biografia do Louis Braille
PAL: Students will do some review on routine verbs and read books on Elefante Letrado

PE/Music/Art
|
PE: Virtual PE assessment on flipgrid (create an agility course), Star Wars workout, super yoga.
Music: Make a video on FlipGrid of your performance of a “Listening and Hand Signs” exercise.
