The number of articles and news reports and studies on the impact of COVID-19 on our now home-based education are increasing every day, and as counselors we try to sift through the noise in order to find those that are most helpful.
Attached here is an article from Berkeley's Greater Good Institute, which we have found to be a valuable resource.

The three pieces of advice given are:
1. Simplify: Relax your homeschooling and productivity standards to a level appropriate for a worldwide pandemic
2. Structure: Keep calm and structure on
3. Support: Get ahead of the meltdowns (and teach critical social-emotional skills, too!)
