Lower School Update - April 22, 2019

The Eagle’s Nest
Two classes were awarded the Golden G award today for demonstrating the Eagle Way. Congratulations to Ms. Joyce’s pre-primary class and Ms. Ro’s third grade class!

Semana Literária
This week students will celebrate Portuguese literature during their Portuguese classes with special guest speakers and activities. Vamos celebrar a palavra: a palavra escrita, a palavra lida, a palavra falada. Além dos alunos compartilharem seus trabalhos, também receberemos autores convidados.

Alice in Wonderland
Lower School students got a small glimpse into the Upper School musical: Alice in Wonderland today during our Eagle’s Nest Assembly this morning. The singing, acting, and costumes were amazing! We encourage all families to attend this great production. Show times are Friday at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Saturday at 4:00 pm.

Graded’s Run Against Cancer
On Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the Graded track our annual run will occur. This year there are more activities for our Lower School students! Activities include: three-legged race, egg on a spoon relay, sack racing, hula hoop group “passing without touching”, slime making, goal shooting, tunnel crossing for babies (2 and under), face painting, and most importantly the race! Runners will have the choice of running 1km, 3km, or 5km. To register click here.
