Word Study Fun

We have been learning all about English spelling patterns in class. We are all working on just right levels for us, but we still can play together. To begin any game we have to sort our words by headers (which are labels for the spelling patterns). Here are a few photos of us setting up:

Once we are all set up we can play games such as blind sort. For this sorting game we have to close our eyes and our partner mixes up our sorted spelling words. We then open our eyes and we have to find which spelling words our partner moved. Here are a few pictures of us playing with our partners:
